FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is Crescend?
Crescend is a social layer for your music. It helps you discover people who share your taste, right in the moments you listen.
How does crossing paths work?
When someone nearby is listening to the same song, artist or genre as you, Crescend sends you a gentle notification. You decide whether to say hi.
Which music services does it work with?
Crescend connects to Spotify at launch, with more services planned.
Is my location shared?
Never precisely. Others only see that you're nearby, and you can pause sharing or go invisible at any time.
When does it launch, and is it free?
We're opening access in waves. Join the waitlist to be first in line. Crescend will be free to use.
